Food Finds Pinas has long been an idea floating around in my head for the longest time. Ever since around college, I’ve been self-studying cooking but it was just one of my passions and it only really served as a way to impress girls and show off my cooking skills. Now that I’m older, I’ve decided that I might as well do content around food. But I’ve also come across the idea of ikigai. Ikigai is the idea that our sense or reason for existing must revolve around four things: what we love, what we are good at, what we can get paid for, and what the world needs.
I love cooking and I believe and friends and family have long told me to start a food business. but I’ve always been wary of investing large amounts of money into a business that I’m not sure will work. I believe that there is a better approach to do what I love and help other people as well.
My current vision abut Food Finds Pinas is: I create content that people can learn from and enjoy cooking from home, attract and create a community that are interested in food by providing a message board so they can exchange ideas and learn from each other, and provide visibility for small business owners by providing the community a business directory and location-based search function which the community itself can review and provide feedback for each other.
